I have worked in a Title 1 school in Savannah Chatham County since 2014. I am currently serving as an Academic Coach for math and science teachers in my school. As a classroom teacher, I wrote and received 3 technology grants in my district and used technology in my math classrooms on a daily basis. I have led Professional Development Trainings on a school and district level. I've served as the Response to Intervention coordinator for my grade level, PBIS coordinator, and sit on the leadership team in my building. I have a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education from Armstrong State University in Savannah, Georgia, and hold a certification to teach middle grades math, science, reading, gifted and general curriculum special education K-12. I recently earned my M.Ed with a focus in Instructional Technology from Georgia Southern University and passed GACE for Instructional Technology in April 2018. This professional portfolio is a representation of coursework completed for my Instructional Technology Graduate Degree at Georgia Southern University and outlines how each Standard for Instructional Technology (Georgia Professional Standards Commission) has been demonstrated and mastered.
